Hi there :D

My name is Kate and I lived in Taiwan for my first 18 years of life until I moved to Seattle 5 years ago. The cultural differences fascinate me (but you have to admit sometimes it is also hard to process) and I'm truly in love with the cultural diversity here. I love travelling since little and I've visited 18 countries with a few solo travelling experiences. Hitting an adventure with friends and family is fun, but I also love to meet the locals and experience the city from their point of view, learning their personal stories and cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not a big fan of an attraction-driven trip; in stead, I love to explore local neighbourhoods, visit local shops or cafes, and meet up with new people in the city. Couchsurfing provides the best way of doing so! Exploring the city through the eyes of local and make friends with them is the best eye-opening experience you could have on a trip!
