Overview
About Me
Quiet is severely underrated. Silence can be a privilege. I enjoy reading non-fiction. I like to write.
Laughter, doobies and meaningful conversation are a few of my favourite things. I also enjoy coffee, laughter, and red wine (though I'm not a big drinker).
Generally, I'm quite quiet. I'm tidy. Respect and thoughtfulness are two significant virtues which I seek from myself and others.
I do not like checking emails or being on the computer in general.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Was desperate for accommodation in Tofino back in 2015.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked Lone Cone Mountain in Clayoquot Sound. Not a huge mountain, but, was pretty cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm fascinated by human power relations and cultures. I love hearing about others' travels since I haven't done much myself. Opinions can be interesting--as long as they are well-informed/substantiated. Ideas/philosophy/wonderings/experiences tend to make the best conversation.
I'm quite interested in alternative & sustainable living, organic foods/products and the environment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Thoughtful/meaningful conversation is something I tend to be good at. Listening can teach you so many things about others.
But, I can also be very quiet and be comfortable alone.
I know how to clean up after myself. I can cook; love to barbecue.
Polite. Neat. Kind. Respectful. Thoughtful. Curious.
