I am a young 19 year old Australian. I truly believe that we live in a beautiful world. I am optimistic and love to tlook for the beauty in the world around me, and often it is found in the most unexpected places! I see beatuy in other people, in nature and in cultures. I am energetic, friendly and love meeting new people.

Interests

I love art, music and wirting. I also really enjoy sports and being outside in the great outdoors. I like swimming, tennis, running, yoga, horse riding, netball, soccor...just about any sport! I love cooking and enjoy lively mealtimes with friends. I love dancing, lauging and having fun. I want to learn more about other cultures and the ways in which people live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling in Florence, I recieved a phonecall from homein Australia saying that a family member had passed away. I went for a walk in a park, and tears were streaming down my face. i sat on a park bench and wept. A complete stranger iin a foreign land sat next to me, held my hand, looked into my eyes and smiled. We sat for along time, and she squeezed my hand while I cried. The beauty and kindness of this lady touched my soul. I will never forget the love that she showed me. I believe that strangers are only friends that you have not yet met. I too, would like to be a shining light to those in this world around me.

I ran a half marathon, that 22km, in Sydney in 2012. Crossing the finish line was exhilerating and I felt on top of the world. Sport is my passion, it gets me motivated, makes me feel fantastic and reminds me that I am truly alive!
