CURRENT MISSION

We are first and foremost out to have fun - but this isn't only to be found in bars and clubs. We are trying to really learn about the world and it's people and return home a bit more intresting than when we set out!

ABOUT ME

We are a couple aged 25 from Northern England. We are currently on the trip of a lifetime, from the u.k to india, s.e asia, australia, fiji, N.Z and south america. we are free-spirits and open minded people, taking our own route at times, but always socializing on the way.

We love new experiences and meeting new people, although it can get tiresome talking about the places you've been and the people you met. I'm much more about knowing about the way it is in your country, politically and lifestyle wise, especially as i studied geogrpahy.

Travelling is not just going to places, it is letting those places get into you, it is a feeling and way of life and it should be available to everyone. not just the rich and famous.

We would love to chat about the deeper things, go for a coffee, or maybe go for a good night on the town. Most of all were easy going and relaxed and sociable.

I also love to cook and have been picking up some awesome recepies here in Asia. So if anyone lets us crash at theirs I promise to cook up some awesome Green Curry and supply a crate of beer!

To be honest and fair and respect those that respect you. It's cheesy but what goes around definately comes around. That's the only relegion you need!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are new to the concept of coach surfing, but it is totally in line with my ethos. Currently we are travelling, but i'm recommending that all my freinds with coaches get involved.

And as soon as we get back im gona buy a sofa bed and make sure people can make use of it, especially given how damn expensive England can be!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used the site before, but earlier last year I met an American dude at Notting Hill carnival and found out he had been roughing it around Britain with a big tarp and a sleeping bag.

It gets bloody cold in Manchester, so when he said he was heading north i said by all means he could crash at my house. My friends were saying i was mad and he could be anybody, but in the end we had some amazing times drinking in the bars of Manchester and getting to know the city. It actually made me realise how cool my own city is! I would definately love to do it again, as new people with a similar mentality to you are hard to find, and friends are the most important thing in life!

Tim has a geogrpahy degree, which makes him a jack-of-all trades and master of none. He can share a lot of oppinions on life and the environment and the planet. Kath is a specialist in hearing, so unless your'e deaf she cant help much in that way. But maybe Tim can teach you how to rap - given he's a bedroom MC!
