Hello dear all!
My name is Katharina, I'm 24 years old and I currently live in Vienna (Austria). After living in one place for a while, I've been itching to travel somewhere - I think it's a great privilege we have in the world to be able to travel as quickly and easily as we can these days. So I'm very supportive of people being curious to come to the city I currently live in and I am happy to offer my home for a visit! I am also very grateful for the many people I have met on my travels around the world so far who have welcomed me warmly - I just want to give that back!
About me: I dance modern dance, paint and draw a lot, I love to read (have you read Oliver Sacks? I highly recommend it!), I'm currently studying psychology at the University of Vienna and I'm very happy about the exciting combination of art and psychology! I am a very active person, I ride my racing bike everywhere and I love meeting friends and new faces!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In fact, I'm very new to couch surfing, I've always found accommodation very spontaneously on the spot - which worked out great. For my visit to Israel, I'm looking for a host via Couch Surfing for the second time (in Paris I had a really nice first experience)!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music, I'm a big fan of house and techno and I'm really into French electronic music at the moment (for example Ascendant Vierge or Kate Ryan).

In fact, I'm not the most sophisticated cook, but I've been able to get hold of some tips through my flatmate, who is a chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and I might be able to reveal something there ;)
