Hello, my name is Katharina and I’m 19 years old. I live in a small village in Salzburg, Austria. I attended the commercial college for 5 years and on 19th of June this year I finally graduated. Before I am going to continue my education at university, I would like to travel to collect new experiences and to improve my language skills.

At the moment I‘m living in Algeciras, Spain. I am here since the beginnig of january and I stay in Spain for 4 to 5 months. I‘m working as an aupair here and I started to learn spanish in october 2017. I would love to visit many new spanish places and citys! :) All in all I want to live a really spanish life for a few months.

I would characterize myself as a very open-hearted person. I am helpful, considerate and responsible. I’m always willing to learn and to grow with new experiences. I’m also a positive and humorous person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to spend some time abroad, to see new places and to get in touch with other cultures. I think that couchsurfing is the best way to get involved into other cultures and to get to know a lot of different people all over the world. I'm very excited to meet new people, listen to their storys and all in all have a great time together.
I would like to get to know the city better, not only sightseeing and tourist stuff, instead I'd like to visit also unusual places outside the tourist regions, taste typical food, visit your favorite places, bars and so on! :)
