My name is Katherine Tipp and I am a senior at Lander University in Greenwood, SC. I am majoring in History-Secondary Education and am looking forward to starting student teaching soon! I am very involved on my campus and have enjoyed the many opportunities that have been afforded to me by a smaller university.

Intereses

I love to read and travel in my free time. I have been fortunate to live in many parts of the country and have gotten to see so many incredible places in the world! I also love to cuddle my sweet kitty, Gypsy, while enjoying a cup of hot tea and Netflix.

My favorite music is country but I'm open to pretty much anything. My all time favorite book is "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien but you can never go wrong with Maya Angelou either. I also love the movie Dirty Dancing!

One of the most amazing things I've ever done is snorkel the Great Barrier reef while studying abroad in Australia. I also have traveled to Guatemala 12 times for missionary work and have been blessed to see/experience so many amazing things.
