explore more and read as much as I possibly can.
A lot interests me and I try to always be open to new things and ideas. I love to travel particularly as it allows this interaction with new people and to see different things.
I'm currently studying for a PhD in cultural geography but before now did sociology and am fascinated by people, philosophies and how the world works in different places. But I believe the best way to really find out about that is to explore it yourself.
I am half South African and have a real love for Africa, particularly after spending 6 months back packing across it.
I am because we are - ubuntu.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf whenever I travel, host when I have space/time.
My friend Katie and I couchsurfed through the south of france and had an incredible time meeting the most amazing and generous people. Hosted some lovely people in both Bristol and London - and made great friends.
Surfed through Europe when traveling by myself in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Vienna, and with my brother down the east coast of USA. Always had a really great time - you get to know people so much better through CS in such a short space of time and what lovely people are out there :)
I love music, photography, film, traveling, reading, writing, good food, relaxing, swimming, dancing and having long conversations about life and everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teaching in a Malawian primary school to a class of more than a 100 children was pretty amazing. As was sky-diving over Plettenberg Bay at 10000ft and over the victoria falls.
Teach, Learn, Share
