ABOUT ME

I am a well rounded, well liked and well traveled individual. Very spiritual.....I teach yoga for a living. Gentle and fun loving. I love children and pets. They seem to like me too. I get along with everyone. Very congenial.

I am involved in the dance community in Boston and Cambridge Massachusetts. I just performed in a modern dance piece; choreographed by one of my colleagues. I hold a B.A. in Dance and an M. A. in Dance Movement Therapy, which is a form of psychotherapy similar to art or music therapy. I have worked with children from the ages of three to thirteen. Drug and alcohol abusing teenagers, incarcerated males and developmentally delayed youth as well as geriatrics. My favorite population were geriatrics so I wrote my thesis on D.M.T. with geriatrics. I still work with them in a different capacity today.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I traveled Europe on a Eurrail pass by myself fresh out of college for one year. I studied dance in London, England. I lived in Ireland and England. Took a magic bus from London to Greece. Most recently, I have joined Yoga excursions to Costa Rica, Hawaii, Mexico and Bali, Indonesia. I participated in the first ever Yoga cruise in the Carribean. I spent one year in Thailand teaching yoga, Pilates, Gyrokinesis(R) and Gyrotonic(R) (a form rehabilitative exercise devised by a ballet dancer.)at a five star hotel. From Thailand I was able to visit Australia, Nepal and Singapore. I sailed through the Hawaiian Islands on a friends 34 foot Benateau. I went to Nicaragua on a delgation of art music and dancectherapists to work with children at risk.
