ABOUT ME

I am an openminded person who likes to travel and get to know people, their culture, thoughts and habits from all over the world. I also like to stay in nature a lot (hiking, canoing, going by bike), but I should take more time to do it ;) I live in an alternative house-project in Magdeburg (small city about 200 km south-east of Berlin in the federal state of "Sachsen-Anhalt") with 15 other people (and 3 children). We are self-governed and have to care for the house, our garden and our public space (for café, brunch, public meeting etc.). I am working for a youth league with focus on young immigrants and I like my job a lot - Its really interesting and rich in variety.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I am interested in politics, especially enviromental and immigration issues and international affairs. I am a member of a political group (from the green party) who fights for the rights of refugees in "Sachsen-Anhalt" and beyond. I also like hanging around in our garden, talking and meeting with friends, art cinema, reading good newspapers and books an so on...
