Since I was a little girl I always wanted to travel. I ended up joining the military in hopes of seeing the world. Sadly, I was only stationed in the states. I'm now 29 years old and still have no stamp on my passport but the desire to explore is still within me.
I've chosen a career that allows me to work anywhere as long as I can connect to the internet every couple of days. I also have no children or commitments keeping me grounded to any one place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've known about Couchsurfing for a few years but I was always too afraid to travel on my own, until now. I have spoken to a few females who have traveled on their own while using the Couchsurfing community and they loved it. The idea of going to new places and meeting new people is exhilarating. I eventually want to host as well as travel. I thinking connecting with others who have the desire to explore would really help me get out into the world.

Interests

My interest are a wide variety. I'll start naming them in no particular order. Advertising campaigns, photography, swimming, package design, hockey, Geocaching, hiking, walking, getting in shape, healthy living, travel, psychology, philosophy, culture, outdoors, inventions, movies, love, music, art and I could go on and on but I think that list will do for now.

Music, Movies, and Books

This has always been a very difficult question for me to answer. I don't have a favorite anything. My preference changes with my mood.
But I always like movies like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Underworld or action movies. I love non-fiction book that can help me help others. Music is really too hard to choose. As long as it's not hard rap, I'll probably like it.
