I travel a lot for work — I run my own business and my clients are all over the place. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and meals, and talking politics. A good portion of my life is spent in the kitchen, I care a lot about what I eat and making sure nothing goes to waste (being handy with a knife helps a lot). For fun I love hiking, snowshoeing, camping, biking, biking, and biking. I'm also down for music, farms, coffee shops, board games, late nights, food experiments, manual labor, art projects, and museums. For me, there's no work/life balance, it's all just life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Working with grassroots groups and social movements is a labor of love. I get to do work that's really meaningful, but it keeps me on a budget. When I travel, I also want to have a kitchen and some friendly folks to feel at home and help contribute/alleviate my impact. There's no better way to make friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biked the entire east coast of America
