I've joined couchsurfing as a potential way to connect with other travellers.

I want to hike and climb all over the world. I'm an average climber, improving slowly but surely and learning more and more as time goes on.

I've lived in France and the United States, having spent extensive time travelling France and Europe growing up, and eventually attending school for a bit in France during university.

I am extremely health-conscious, but I am very open to learning and experiencing other cultures' foods and dining practices.

I love learning about other cultures, people and places.

I drink from time to time, but not too much; I do not smoke. I aim to keep a pretty active lifestyle...

I love rock climbing, going out dancing, drawing, cartoons, writing, design, swimming, hot weather, and generally anything that will make for an adventure outside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do a lot of backpacking and travelling, so I'm hoping to connect with other travelers with similar interests and lifestyles. I'm interested in hiking, climbing, open water swimming, and / or share local knowledge about camping and outdoor sports wherever we find ourselves.

I am pretty decent at teaching languages and art; I'd be happy to share what I know. I also enjoy cooking but tend to improvise more than follow recipes...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very culturally sensitive, love sharing stories (I have some good ones...), and have a pretty good sense of humor... I think I carry myself well as an American abroad and in various cultural contexts, and I can definitely offer travel tips, too :)

I am happy to help in the kitchen, and will gladly clean up after myself and others (please let me do so!).
