ABOUT ME

Myers-Briggs and my homebody nature (I live in a household of video-and-board-game playing, media loving, storytelling cast of characters) tell me I'm a mostly introspective person, but I don't let this deter me from seeking things beyond my comfortable nook and close circle of friends. I crave a feeling of unfamiliarity and, especially in this recent year, have desired to exploit a value for community progression, DIY mentalities, and local sourcing both in culinary and generally creative aspects. As applied to any decent citizen, music, gastronomy, and the arts play a role in my every day life, and I am constantly seeking to explore and play with the cultural wealth the world around provides. Adventuresome claims and personal development aside, at the end of the day I tend to just want to watch Princess Mononoke for the fiftieth time (subject to change by point of encounter...). Balance, right?
