Hi there, I'm Katie.
Warm hearted, friendly, goofy deep thinker. I practice yoga, as well as teach children's yoga. I'm also an artist specializing in mixed media; textiles and other materials from various cultural traditions.
I spent the last four years teaching preschool in Brooklyn, NY.
Now I'm traveling through the US, seeking warmth and new experiences, personal growth, joy and freedom in 2015. I'm humbled by the generosity of the new friends I've met through couch surfing and I look for ways to give back in anyway I can. I'm traveling with my partner Miguel~ we come with stories, music, open hearts and a sincere desire to have fun and connect!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a night sleeping under the stars and FULL MOON on a giant sand dune in the middle of the Sahara Desert. It was magic.
