ABOUT ME

I'm a really easygoing, open-minded girl who absolutely loves to travel, I want to see the whole world! Spent way too much time getting an education, now it's time to travel somewhere far away from everything I'm used to. Love goofing around, listening to music, exploring, and go out to experience local foods, drinks and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am traveling around Southeast Asia and Australia until sometime in March and looking for couches to crash on with fun people who like to show travelers around their hometown (or current place of residence).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never tried it before but can't wait to get to know locals who want to hang out and show you around. It's such a great thing to open your home to strangers who by the time they leave have become your friends. Will definitely offer my couch as soon as I have one to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Can't get enough of jazz and smooth oldies where you can hear the crisp sound of the old vinyl. Favorite artists include Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Sidney Bichet, and Thelonious Monk. Also listen to a lot of latin music like Buena Vista Social Club, Xavier Cugat and Carmen Miranda to name a few.

My favorite movie of all time is Hot Fuzz and generally I like comedies and action movies. Also love to watch documentaries.

I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd and love reading fantasy novels, have just now finally gotten around to reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent time at an elephant sanctuary taking care of the gloreous animals.
