ABOUT ME
I love anything geeky, especially sci-fi shows. My favorite fruit is mango and I mean some mean oatmeal raisin cookies. I love studying languages and cultures, even though most of the time I struggle to define the culture of my own country. I practice Theravada Buddhism, but still maintain my love of punk rock.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason. If you really want to experience all that life can offer to you, you have to open yourself to the painful as well as the pleasurable. Pain and pleasure are individually and separately valuable experiences. I can't help but think that if people stopped searching for the "perfect" life, they would be much happier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to encourage people to see themselves as humans and global citizens. I want to reach out and made bonds with people from every corner of the globe so that we can understand each other better. If we happen to cook together, laugh together, act like buffoons together, then that's even better!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couch-surfed before! I'm a huge hostel-jumper, but I sometimes found hostels to be unfriendly and closed off. I'd like to start couch-surfing so I can make some real connections with people!
