ABOUT ME

Friendly, open-minded, independent person who enjoys good company, conversation and food! I have a passion for people, culture and outdoor recreation. I am a high school teacher during the day and spend my free time training in Muay Thai boxing, reading, dancing, a bit of surfing and spending time with my family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a student of the universe. To ask questions, listen and learn is my goal everyday. Experience is my teacher.

Interests

Outdoor recreation such as bush walking, kayaking and surfing. I love the beach and the ocean! I train in Muay Thai kick boxing and enjoy watching MMA. I love to dance! I have tried many styles and am always keen to learn more and practise whenever I can. I would struggle to survive without music. I have a very eclectic taste and enjoy listening to music alone, in the dark, or with people who love to immerse themselves in the sound, story and emotion of music. I also love talking about it and watching live performances when I can. I read a lot from a broad range of subjects and absolutely live for good conversation with people who are willing to share their stories and thoughts. And lastly, after a recent trip to South America I have started to learn Spanish! I am pretty slow and I'm finding it difficult to lose my Aussie accent, but I love learning this beautiful language.

Music, Movies, and Books

Foreign films about love, life and anything quirky! I also absolutely LOVE Bollywood movies... I will listen to anything from The Deftones to Louis Armstrong to Neil Young, depends on my mood. I have songs to mark every key milestone that i've experienced throughout my life. The world would be a bleak place for me without music. I read often and from a very broad range of genres. I love a good historical novel but I mostly go for books that get me really thinking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well last year I packed up my life in Sydney Australia and bought a one way ticket! I have now begun a trip to learn and experience as much as I can about this wonderful world and all it's inhabitants. I have seen some pretty amazing things since I began this trip and I have met some incredible people which I hope to continue to do.
