Honesty and Exploration. Life is an adventure, and often reveals our integrity and purpose. Good things come from talking to strangers, despite what we learned as kids.
I respect freedom of choice and embrace diversity.
I think we are on Earth to take care of the planet and each other, and to learn and improve.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't used this site to stay with anyone yet, but I was just told that I can work remotely for quite a while now, and I'm paying off the last of my "getting started in life" debt, so I'm scouting for affordable places to live/work/learn.

Interests

I'm very careful about germs, and wear masks around people.
There isn't a topic that I can't talk nerdy about, but generally, I keep to myself.
I love photography, but mostly seem to take photos of my friends' dogs, because they aren't camera-shy.
I do volunteer work part-time, mentoring and teaching, mostly. I work full-time, remotely.
I love adventures, and discussing science, medicine, technology, business, travel, cultures, art, literature, philosophy, religion, psychology, education reform, anything that people are interested in, really. I love hearing people's stories and learning about their interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching my 60-year old mom jump off a 20 foot rock into a natural whirlpool in a jungle river in Honduras, while holding hands with a 30-year old Kiwi guide. Go mom!
Hearing the Northern Lights pop and watching them dance while waiting for a ride to my school bus, growing up on a mountain in Alaska.
Driving down out of cool dark Verde Canyon into Sedona, Arizona, just as the sunset hit the red rock mesas below. The intense color was so stunning.
