My name is Kayla, and I love to meet new people. I just graduated nursing school and am currently working as a NICU nurse to gain some experience. Someday, I hope to work abroad. I would love to get the chance to explore new places and cultures!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am so excited to get to know some new people! I'm not in a position to host right now, but I'm trying to work on my Spanish and I'd love to get together for a drink or coffee to practice. :)

Interests

I am trying to push my comfort zone and try new things, but in the meantime I stick with what I know; which is reading books, watching old musicals, riding horses, hiking, listening to or playing music, and spending as much time as I can with my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed up a waterfall in Jamaica, watched a grizzly bear hunt on a neighboring mountain in Yellowstone National Park, tasted guinea pig brain at a restaurant in Ecuador, and gone zip lining in Mexico. These are just a few of my favorite memories from trips I've taken, but I would love to add to the list. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't necessarily have much to teach unless you'd like to practice your English with someone. I would love to learn and practice my Spanish - it's my goal to become fluent! I am also in the process of moving back to Pittsburgh, where I went to college, but I would love to explore the city more and share it with new people!
