ABOUT ME

I am a quirky, nerdy, and creative. I can be loud. I absolutely laugh loud. I love animals, yearn for an intimate relationship with mother nature, and have a weakness for heavy beers and strong coffee. (Also chocolate, also wine.) I grew up on an organic vegetable farm (mainly tomatoes) before organics were cool. I love active activities, funny games, and laying around listening to music and reading.

I have never been on this website before in my LIFE. I am paying a lot for my CEU's and needed to figure a way to make the rest of the trip work. If I like how it goes...I may like to host one day. I love travelling, and I love having visitors.

Interests

I love the outdoors, animals and travel. I also love to cook, talk about food and finer comforts. I take a lot of photos. I love music and art, though I am more an indulger than a conversationalist on these topics. I know a lot of random information about a lot of random things and often have to remind my friends that I sound a lot smarter than I actually am. I am interested in social/cultural conversations when people are willing to discuss their differences with an open mind. I love hearing different people's perspective on just about anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

WHOA! Loaded answer. I love, I guess "cultural fiction" namely fiction written from a cultural perspective different than my own. I am love poetry, specifically but not limited to, Fernando Pessoa, Dylan Thomas, Billy Collins, Pablo Neruda...etc.
I like music a lot too. ALL OF IT!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to go camping with horses a LOT in my youth. Mostly in the Appalachian Mountains. As I have gotten older I realize this is not something a lot of people have done. I saw a lot of beauty from the back of a horse. Thanks Mom and Pop!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you stretches to help with certain ailments, what a nerve stretch is and how it helps your body, and I can tell you that you are probably Calcium Deficient....like everyone is!
