ABOUT ME

Love science. I guess I have a keen interest in the natural sciences like ecology and evolution, but I studied chemistry so I know the physical sciences a bit more academically. I love to learn about how people look at the world and life differently and enjoy being alive. Love a drink and to party, but also like chatting and watching dvd's or terrible tv.

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever you want in life, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.
Your life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react.
I also have an interest in yoga and mindfulness meditation. Love consciousness and life on earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many people through my neighbours being quite active on couchsurfing. When I was in India I stayed with a couple of hosts and had an awesome experience so thought I should get my own profile. Thanks to couchsurfing I was able to stay at the kumbh mela festival in India this year.

Favourite movie is 2001: a space odyssey.
I like all music. I guess "the national" were my last really favourite band but I like a lot of 60s and 70s music as well as the indie stuff.

I did my honours project on MDMA analogues and discovered a new lead compound for the treatment of Burkitt Lymphoma. But going to Kumbh Mela and bathing in the Ganges was particularly special.

I can help anyone studying chemistry or patent law as that is what I work in. But I'm also a good cook (vegetarian) and hope to complete yoga teaching training to become a yoga teacher in the next year or so.
