About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Officially? To grow up and be a responsible adult. But really? To loosen up and have fun.

ABOUT ME

Life is miserable without good food. I can't cook. But I can order a mean take out. :)

I like travelling. I can tell you where to find the best green curry in Bangkok, and the best tossai is in Borneo. Simply put, I go where the food's good. And its usually off the tourist map!

When I travel, I also like to visit cultural and historical sites. I think old architectures are beautiful. :)

PHILOSOPHY

All of life's problems can be summed up to two things: You either have something you don't want, or you want something you can't have.

Once that's figured out, its easy to go from there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, its Adele and Bruno Mars.

But I also like Nine Inch Nails, Aerosmith, Melissa Etheridge, Damien Rice, the Putomayo CDs, a few Top 40s..it depends on the mood.

My tastes in TV shows tend to go a bit dark lately. I like The Walking Dead and Dexter. However, I also love, love, LOVE Friends, Southpark and the Simpsons. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the orangutan come out of the jungle for the first time. I know it's not as exciting as climbing a mountain but that red haired beauty emerging from the green jungle just took my breath away! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

When travelling and cooking from a hotel room that does not have a proper kitchen, the electric water kettle is your best friend. And not just for instant noodles.

Countries I’ve Visited
