ABOUT ME

NOTE: WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER JUNE 16TH, 2013. I'm a girl who is just looking for adventure! I'm currently a Biology and Spanish double major, but I'm not completely sure what I want to do with that yet. I think I have a calling for teaching those subjects and/or the English language, but who knows! I'm taking every day as it comes. I plan on studying abroad in Spain the academic year of 2014 (September through June.) I'd love to host Spanish-speaking surfers to practice Spanish with.

PHILOSOPHY

"Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." "Much is expected from whom much is given." These two quotes mean a lot to me, and express my attitude towards life. I was fortunate to live a very good life so far, and I want to give back! I also have adopted an idea of "Carpe Diem" lately, not wanting to live with any regrets while I'm still young.

Music, Movies, and Books

Moulin Rouge is my favorite movie, hands down. I also love The Titanic, Dirty Dancing, The Breakfast Club, and countless others.

My favorite authors are Ernest Hemingway and John Steinbeck.

I like all types of music, really! Especially music from countries outside of the US.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a week trip to Spain in high school: this is hopefully just a taste of the traveling I'll do in my lifetime.

I'd love to learn other languages! I play volleyball, so if anyone is interested in playing I'd love that! I also have a passion for Biology and Environmental Science. I also would love to help people out with their English, even if they didn't have anything to offer back.
