About Me

Help the world find safety and happiness. And eat popcorn.

I grew up in San Francisco, but I've been living in Derry, Northern Ireland for 5 years, and my accent is sort of California-Ghetto-mixed-Norn-Iron-slang as a result! i change my hairstyle as often as possible and cook for everyone that will let me. I studying international politics, love the news, and opening up my mind to new philosophical ideas. I try to share the love that Jesus did with everyone i meet.

I will give everyone respect: I might not know the whole story

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list, on every front! Movies: any Hitchcock, Princess Bride, Bond films. Music: I've got Sigur Ros on repeat. Books: Out Of The Silent Planet, To Catch a Mockingbird, The Poisonwood Bible, 1984/Brave New World, Harry Potter, The Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i am a child when i see snow. all work and conversation stops and i just stare out the window smiling. the ocean is more calming and steadying than youd ever expect a geographical feature to be. the sun is my power-up: it recharges me so i can get through the rainy Northern Irish year.

Teach, Learn, Share

Jokes go down really differently across different cultures. when you open to yourself that something is not inherently distasteful, it is easier to understand that others might not have meant it that way at all, and so avoid personal offense.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ireland, Malawi, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
