ABOUT ME
well lets see. i am Kelly. 22 (for now)
i don't really know where to start. maybe the beginning.
i was born in Germany, to an American father and an Australian mum. we moved a lot when i was young. spending my second year of school in America, Australia and Germany was defiantly a interesting adventure for a five year old. we switched between these three continents, until i was 14. where we moved to the Mornington Peninsula, in Melbourne Australia. In total 7 years USA, 7 years Germany, and 8 in Australia(does not mean i have an awesome Aussie accent, which sucks!)
i took an apprenticeship to become a chef, and completed my studies at 19. I traveled around Australia until i was 21...cooking, drinking, dancing and what not... Great times. i spent just under a year renovating our family home with my mother. went to India. and Now i am on my way through Eurpoe.
so that sums it up really. hahahaha..
PHILOSOPHY
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods;
There is a rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and the music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...
- Lord Byron

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
well...
it is quite difficult to pick one thing......but i'll tell you about my favourite day traveling Australia....
I was with a french boy named Mathieu. he was loud. We were driving very very slowly from melbourne to sydney. taking the smallest roads along the ocean. sleeping in the forest, making friends in the smallest towns, playing mini golf with elderly people..We had a blast.
there was this one day in particular, where the sky was clear and blue. We drove along the broken road without any idea what we were driving into...the sun was on its way down, as the sky turns reddish orange....a kangaroo jumps on to the road. we stop and wait to see what he or she is doing. she just stood there....looking right at us...until i opened the door...she made a noise, and 5 more Roos came out from the bush. they stood right beside each other, just starring right at us.
Mathieu was scared and would not get out, while i sat on your roof having a battle of who could stare more.. personally this moment has been stapled into my head. i will never forget how beautiful they were.....
