About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am on a mission to get businesses organized and functioning more smoothly. Why? Because they'll make and keep more money, hire more people and save the world faster of course!
ABOUT ME
My friends say I'm the most organized person they know. My business revolves around creating cool systems that work for companies. I work from my home and spend a lot of time with my 3 rowdy dogs - who love to go to "grandma's house" when I travel. I'm pretty low key and can often be found reading, working on a fiction story or swimming at the beach or gym.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind to others. Help when you can. Call bullshit. Speak the truth in love. Always replace the toilet paper roll.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm looking for locals when I travel for events and conferences. If my experience is positive I may be opening up my own home for travelers but I'm not sure who would be visiting my small town...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none yet!
Interests
I absolutely love interior decorating, it's one of the reasons travel is so much fun. I love to see how people all over the world are living. Recently I had an amazing trip to Mexico where I spent my days relaxing on the beach and evenings at a hostel with new friends and great conversations. By my side is usually my camera so I can snap pictures of anything that inspires me.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many I can't even begin... I lean towards historical fiction, YA (prior to 1990), some fantasy, legal dramas and great characters.
Movies are mostly drama, I'll take a high speed chase over romcom any day of the week.
Most of my music comes from the young woman I've mentored for the last years - she's amazing at finding new artists so I just take her suggestions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first night in Edinburgh, Scotland was amazing. It was St. Patrick's Day so after dinner and drinks at a pub we walked along the Royal Mile. It was already April and the night was pitch black. I'd left my camera in the room and when we were just about ready to go back it started to snow. One of the most beautiful sights I've seen in Scotland!
This year I went to Mexico to see the whales migrate. The night before I left I was out on a boat, cruising around the bay following a humpback whale and her baby. While others on the boat were drinking I stayed on the bow with my camera. After awhile I could time how long the whales would be under water before breaching and when the mother whale jumped I captured the entire sequence and was so completely amazed to see it happen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can walk into a room and rearrange it in my head to better utilize space within minutes. I've mentally rearranged the layout at Costco dozens of times.
I understand and love processes so if you're stuck on anything from a business sale to building a shelf I can usually help you get clarity on what comes next.
I also see untapped potential in opportunities that might be overlooked and become your biggest cheerleader to grabbing on and saying yes.
