ABOUT ME

I'm passionate about my work and interests, which include working with young people, violence prevention, and social justice. I am responsible, fun, open, and honest. I consider myself a good listener and a loyal friend.

Interests

I love to read, cook, bike, and meet new people. I always like hearing people's stories, in whatever form that takes, and am happy to share my own as well. I spend my time studying community development, social, racial, and environmental justice, and youth work. I enjoy trying new beers and restaurants. I also love to hike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Nicaragua was a life-changing experience. It was the second time I left the United States and was very eye-opening, especially given the history of US involvement in and relations with the country. I'm continually awestruck by the amazing work done by young people I work with in Portland, who work on issues such as violence prevention, education, and sustainability. Their energy, ideas, and hard work continues to push and inspire me.
