Spent my childhood moving around the US with my family. Continued the tradition in my adulthood. Can't really find a place to settle so I travel in hopes of finding a place to call home.
Recently married to my wonderful wife. We live in Pittsburgh with our 13 year old Terrier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel more but I can't really afford to travel as much as I would like. I am hoping to be able to travel more while meeting awesome people who can show me the "native part of the city".

Interests

Anything related to cooking or eating food. I mostly travel through a city while eating my way through the culture. Nothing is better than a small mom and pop restaurant with kick ass food that only the locals know about.
I enjoy hiking on the weekends and spending time with friends while drinking on my back porch.
Occasionally you will catch me catching a concert or show but not often.

I feel in love with The Giver. The love affair has never stopped.
Found strength in my youth while reading Harry Potter.

My wife and I watch Love Actually and The Holiday every Christmas season. So they have to be my favorite just for the joy it brings me in the Holiday season.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paid for my undergrad with an NCAA scholarship in track and field. My last year - in my conference meet, I put up a performance that the highest second mark in Big East history.
Did it on Mothers Day while my mother was in the stands. Best day of my life.
