ABOUT ME

I am someone who loves to joke around and be silly. That, and eating and cooking food are basically what keep me going in this confusing world. Unfortunately I like to do a little bit of everything so I will probably never really be great at any of it but painting, cooking, playing ultimate, speaking different languages, reading, writing, and walking dogs are just some of my hobbies.

I like to participate anyway I can. I don't like being on the sidelines.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and been hosted by couch surfers. I have also been hosted by people I just met who are not part of this site and it has always turned out well.

Interests

New experiences are what I'm all about. I'm not going to say I always dive right in to new a new situation but I am always glad I did. Ultimate Frisbee is one of my favorite past times but I really just like being outside in general. One of my favorite things to do is study new languages. I love being able to speak to people for other cultures and backgrounds even if its just as simple as "hello how are you." Currently I am pursuing my goal to become a sketch comedy writer and stand up. I'm terrified but that only makes it more exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the Batman movies, Step Brothers and nearly every other Will Ferrell movie, this list is impossible to make. haha Saturday Night Live I will be loyal to forever. I read a variety of things. A lot of 19th century stuff, Carl Sagan always has something thought provoking to say, Malcolm Galdwell and Michael Polen are my favorite thinkers, my guilty pleasure would be the Game of Thrones series, the books and the show. Music depends on my mood. I could listen to everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Austria for about 8 months. That was by far the most amazing time in my life.
