About Me

CURRENT MISSION

East coast gal making the trek to the west coast

ABOUT ME

I have lived my entire life in Baltimore, Maryland. It wasn't until I was the ripe age of 21 that I got over my fear of flying and I've been traveling nonstop since then. I used to pamper myself with nice hotels and all-inclusives but let's face it: I just graduated college and I am now in debt to the country's educational system for the next 15+ years of my life. In other words: I'M BROKE! :)

It's all good though. I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. I received my degree in criminal justice (and no, I don't watch the "CSI shows" haha) and I'm now pursuing a career in real estate. Doesn't make sense, but life never does. Anyways--getting licensed to sell real estate in California is now on my plate and I am moving there in September. Literally selling all my furniture, fitting what I can into my car, and making the 2,700 mile venture in my little Corolla to the other side of the country. No one has told me I'm crazy yet!

I've been told my many transplants in LA that the best way to get a job and figure out where you want to live is to just get there first. So while I'm in a brief limbo of deciding my future on the west coast, I'm looking for a hospitable and kick ass host to enhance my new life change and show me the ropes. Is that you?!

PHILOSOPHY

As generic as it is, I love the phrase "Go big or go home". As competitive as I am, I've adopted this as my mantra and tend to think in this mindset daily. More often than not, I enforce this policy when at Subway as I'm deciding between a 6 inch or a footlong. It doesn't take a genius to determine the logistics of the situation to realize the footlong is a better deal.
