CURRENT MISSION

Recently WOOFING in WA about to travel and find a few acres to make a permaculture foodforest, earthships. We have taken the greyhound past few times traveling, now we are hitch-hiking so we can go slow, meet locals while traveling :)

ABOUT ME

Aloha my name is Kelsey my fiancé Les and our min pin Bella are really into nature, we hunt wild edible food and Bella hunts voles. We try to eat fresh and get our nutrients from plants :) we love seeing new places and meeting new faces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Volunteering where ever possible when able to help out any one.
Keeping the environment clean by always picking up trash on our hikes :)
help planting with community gardens and getting to know the people everywhere we visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first stay was at this awesome guys house in San Jose him and his brother and 4 dogs had us at there house for about two days we had an awesome dinner did laundry watched movies he gifted us MSR tent :)
Stayed in Colorado for 4 days in Denver with this awesome Brother his sister and her kids and had a great time staying relaxed watching movies playing board games while it was hailing and flooding outside. when the rain stopped we went on a 10 mile hike to a waterfall 1400ft. and found organic edible mushrooms and made grommet free food in the woods with onions and wild garlic we found before hiking back. :)

Interests

We love to go hiking and being in Nature. We only go into the city's when it is necessary we love being on mountains or anywhere beautiful. We love collecting rocks from different places we go. love going to free hot springs. Learning and seeing new things(obviously)!

Camped at 8,000 ft in CO then climbed to a lake at 14,000 ft

Teach, Learn, Share

Love teaching about piezoelectricity and naturally occurring energy. Quantum mechanics and lots of biology and mycology interests. Permaculture and food foresting and wild abundance gardening and homesteading projects usually fill the time between traveling.
