ABOUT ME

I am hoping to meet people to connect with as I travel. I learn more thru friendship than thru seeing sites and learning facts. Being a tourist is not so fun. Let's be friends. Still, I love to learn about everything- philosophy, astrology, medicine, history. I'm trying to not be soooo too interested in any of these things right now. There is much wisdom to knowing nothing. I enjoy observing and listening to people, dancing, singing, playing, and sleeping on trains. I most desire to be a part of traditional music and dance and the culture that surrounds these types of events.

I tend to wander thru cities, countrysides, and seasides without much concern with where i'm going- watching people and taking the chance to participate in anything that interests me. But, most of all I love to ask questions and relax.

preparing and using medicinal plants is a special interest of mine. I play the violin, although I'm not traveling with it at the moment, which is a bummer.

i'm traveling around going to spa towns- experiencing the healing traditions around spa medicine- thermal and mineral waters. I hope to bring this knowledge back to the states and design my medical practice based on what I have learned.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading the Book of Fathers, a Hungarian novel. Just read The Glass Castle, a rural American memoir. Oh, and before that The Hummingbirds Daughter, a Mexican revolution era tale- this one is the best of the three, but these are all very good.
