ABOUT ME

ROADTRIP: 2 I.H.O.T. College Students NEED housing for WEST COAST ROAD TRIP

We are 2 college students from the group of International House Of Transients (IHOT) DC Kick Ball team. We are taking a road strip before the adventurous academic fall semester bounds us from all reality. Our professional background is Special Education Counseling and Media Broadcasting.

Me: I am Kenan from Washington, DC. student at University of the District of Columbia with a major in Journalism. I am currently the voice for the UDC "FIREBIRDS" for all home games. I am looking to take my degree in the Broadcasting industry. My Friend is Malikah from Altadena, Ca. student at UCLA in their Special Education Teaching Master's Program. Currently, she's a teacher in the State of California. She is going to start a school for children with disabilities and learning disorders.

There are 4 of us who belong to the group and we all have kept in touch since summer of 2008. Since then we have traveled together in Costa Rica. On this trip only 2 of us can make it because one of us are in London, UK and the other will be in Austin, TX sending her sister off to Peace Corp. Therefore the fire of the team does not burn out and has moved forward in planning the road trip.

We are starting in LA on 8/2 and driving north towards Vancouver, British Columbia by the weekend (8/7 - 8/8) We are looking to network, meet, socialize, bar hop, open-mic, and sing in your town....also most importantly REDWOOD FOREST AND THE SEQUOIAS.... we are in need of knowing all the happenings in your town, space, or community - that is heading towards BC. such as ARCADIA, EUGENE, PORTLAND, SEATTLE ETC. we plan to hit Vegas the following weekend (8/14 - 8/15) ...we will be bringing food, beverages, movies, cards, board games, coolers and fun with us to all our destinations. we can bbq or fix breakfast.

we hope that you would have:
- a house or apartment or room in a group house or maybe a couch (not a tent or RV)
- towels and wash clothes,
- bathroom (indoor or out, but running water)
- 2 beds with linen.
