Hi there!
About a year ago I was a mechanical engineering student in Indianapolis, Indiana. I had my own apartment and a job at the airport that I liked but when I stepped back and looked at my life nothing made sense. I was just going through the motions of what was expected of me. I wasn't happy. So finally one day I decided that there had to be more to life than the "American Dream." I put school on hold, got three jobs, paid off my student loans, sold everything I owned and left. I have traveled all over the states so far and now I'm making my way through the world one step at a time.

Well, not only am I pretty low on funds but I also think that the best way to travel is by getting to know the locals. There is so much you miss if you only read guidebooks and stay in hostels. I try to experience as much culture as I can through my travels and couchsurfing is a really easy way to do that.

My first love is baking. There's truly nothing better than that feeling when you pull some fresh baked bread out of the oven or when you take that first warm, soft and steamy bite. Let me bake you some bread! Jigsaw puzzles are a guilty pleasure of mine and I actually collect them in every country I go to. Past that I love hiking, soccer, skiing, wandering new countries, talking to strangers, reading, writing, and much more.
