ABOUT ME

I am a kind and considerate person. Interests are many -from kayaking to Afro-Cuban drumming to supporting schools in Africa. I have been fortunate to be able to exit from a corporate career and start a management consulting practice. Professionally, trained and educated as a scientist and social scientist.Travel is my passion and I have had the call to explore life for as long as I can recall. My aim is to travel to those places on this earth that I have not yet experienced and to meet the wonderful people who live there. I do have some very special places that I will always try and revisit.

Interests

Totally into hand drumming...learning the congas, djembe, duns, darbuka. Spend time when at home hiking some amazing trails just out my door in the Oakland hills. I like good food, wine and conversations. Enjoy art of all kinds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Three amazing things that come to mind as they relate to my travels are: The first is the year I visited some of the major desserts on Earth - Sahara, Gobi, Kalahara, Sonoran, Mojave, Namibia.; The second most amazing thing was swimming with lion seals and porpoise in the Baja; A third is getting arrested in Togo and having time to meet some amazing people and become friends (my captors - LOL...what an adventure that was.)
