About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience couch-surfing for the first time

ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people, taking in new sights and having adventures.

I think it's important to work hard. I probably take my work a little too seriously sometimes. I'm driven, passionate and ambitious but in my private life I'm laid back, friendly. It's important to have fun and not take life too seriously all the time.

I like nothing more than a beer or coffee in a nice bar or café so we can talk for hours: about our hopes, dreams, fears, experiences and everything else in between.

I'm also a terrible dancer so if we were partying, you'd have something to laugh at.

PHILOSOPHY

"You cannot always choose your circumstances, but you can choose how you react to them."

Life is filled with trials, challenges and adventures. We can't always pick what happens to us but we can decide how we're going to react, learn and grow from them.

Being honest with myself and others is important to me. I'm not scared to say how I feel and talk about what I think. I hope to get the same from others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed before but I'm hoping to change that.

Interests

I'm a computer science student so I spend a lot of time doing geeky technology things. I work too much, game a little and read.

I've also taken up baking (and I make a pretty decent baked cheesecake). I also have a motorbike.

I like meeting new people. Good food, good company, maybe a beer or two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once worked on a live TV broadcast (behind the scenes). That was pretty exciting.

I went skiing for the first time in 2014 - I really enjoyed that.

I lived in Canada for 3 months in 2007 - that was fun.

I went Scuba diving in Malta even though I can't even swim!

The most amazing thing of all? I've got to spend time with people in my life that have helped me grow into a better person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm training to be a software engineer so I know some things about technology.

I've started baking and I make a pretty good cheesecake!
