CURRENT MISSION

Making music and writing lyrics with my 3 bands. I feel like meeting people from around the world would inspire me to creating something unique. I want to save up money to travel around Europe next year, so I hope hosting strangers would be a good start

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a pretty laid back character. I enjoy reading books, listening to music, cooking, hanging out with my friends and going hiking. I moved out of my family home in Oslo at age 16 as I felt there was more to experience in life than just one city. I tried something completely different and moved to Voss, a small town 1,5 hours from Bergen and stayed there for a year. Voss have two main streets and you see the same people walking around all the time. It was nice for a year, but I wanted something else. So I went to Bergen and have been here since. I really do enjoy this town, but I'm hoping I can save up enough cash to travel next year, as I feel traveling broadens the mind. And thats why I want to host travelers, to learn from them and hear bout their experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, so try not to play it too safe. Experience as much as you can in the short time you have. Try not saying no. Be creative and don't be scared of failing. Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I randomly met a guy named Cesar when me and my band were going to band practice. He was in Norway to see the northern lights. He had been traveling around the world for the last 3,5 years and he joined us and hung out with us. Made food, shared stories and pretty much had a really good time. I invited him to stay at my place and he told me about this site, so I figured Id register and see what happened.

Moving away at a young age and stepping out of my comfort zone made me a completely different person, and thats one thing Im quite proud of.

Me and some friends also walked from Oslo to Sweden when we were 15. Through the woods. Just living of berries and the fish we were able to catch. We did have some canned foods with us, but only needed to have it once. We grew closer and have had a great connection ever since.

I play the guitar pretty well and is open to sharing what I know. I make some pretty mean dishes and it would be cool to get other peoples ideas and opinions on it, and perhaps make a colaborated dinner. Like fusion food, haha. Other than that I know Bergen pretty well and could go for a walk and tell you about the city and what tourist attractions you might be interested in.
