To discover more about the world and myself
I'm currently a social worker living in Baltimore, MD. To maintain my sanity, I also travel as often as possible. I've been all over the U.S., to various islands in the Caribbean, and to Costa Rica. My fiance' and I have plans to do some intense traveling this summer, including volunteering at ecovillages and organic farms, and couch surfing to meet new friends! Currently we're taking small trips here and there whenever possible.
I believe health and well-being is most important, because without that one has nothing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Friends from around the country and Europe have stayed on our couches. We have not yet hosted anyone directly through this site, but when we move into a new place in the fall plan on using a guest room for this!
Having friends (and friends of friends) over, and visiting people and making new friends in similar fashions. Travelers take care of each other!
Learning, yoga, helping others, traveling anywhere and everywhere, discovering new ways to experience joy and positivity every single day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of psychology books because of my job. I also love reading books about health, spirituality, communication, and human triumphs, travels, and development.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few are: watching the volcano Arenal erupt from a motel in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, riding full speed downhill on a bike in Jamaica with the coastline in sight and the smell of ghanja in the air, doing yoga on the beach in Labadee, Haiti, and falling in love.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share some insights into identifying and overcoming anxieties, and other self-therapy techniques.
