I love what I do and do what I love. For the last seven months I have been leading outdoor education programs and wilderness trips for a non profit in maine. before that I was moving around out west working on farms leading trail crews to feed m adventuring habits. I thoroughly enjoy working with people kids of all sizes and ages outside having all types of fun that leads to educational experiences because i consider myself a teacher. I always dreamed of being a wilderness photographer but by the looks of the pictures i take i love the characters of people in the novel settings i experience so I am going to continue to do that.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I get to work with children all the time outside.

I had the pleasure of leading trail crews across the western united states with children 15-39 teaching technical skills and interacting with them for extended periods of time in remote settings.

I was leading salt water canoe trips all fall. One day a hurricane was near our location on the coast so my co leader and I had the kids writing in their journals in their tents while we contiued to bake, cook, and fry all we could. the five gallon bucket we used to collect water filling up ith rain coming off the tarp every five minutes. Three kids rushed to get their journals done because the didnt want to miss a thing came out of their tent to help. Eventually the made their way down to the rocky shore where they followed a baby seal playing with its mother in the waves. the rest fo the day was spent playing camouflage in the crazy storm.

This summer I lead three different groups of kids hiking sections of the Appalachian trail. blueberries, blueberries, blueberries on a beautiful peak filled our water bottles filled with backcountry baking for many mornings to come.
