hey! I'm a Franco-American who lives in Paris and trying to find any opportunity to speak English as it is something that can be lost very quickly! I thought hosting foreigners via couchsurfing would be a good way to keep my English active.
I've had no experiences so far with couchsurfing, as a guest or host, so i'm just trying this out.
My apartment is the Batignolles neighborhood, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. You can find many cafes, restaurants and shops. There is also a laundromat at the building's entrance.
It's a 20 minute bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame cathedral.

As far as for me, I work in the energy sector as a software engineer. I leave around 9 and come back around 7 PM. I'm often gone on the weekends.

I'm on CouchSurfing to meet people and learn from other countries, cultures, traditions and customs because my dream is to go on a gap year around the world in a few years and use multiple means of transportation to explore the world. Like sailing in Polynesia, cycling in Europe, horseback riding in Mongolia, sleigh dogs in Canada, Camelback in the Arabian desert, etc.
