CURRENT MISSION
Making unemployment look glamourous!
ABOUT ME
I think my friends would describe me as reliable, nice, quiet but not shy, stubborn at times, intelligent, adventurous, and a bit quirky at times perhaps. I was born in Rhode Island and raised in Connecticut for the most part. As a child I realized that I loved cities and wanted to live in one (or two, or five) someday, and that I loved to travel! I went to university in Toronto, Canada, which was a great experience. Upon graduation I moved to Boston, MA where I put my History degree to good use by working as a Museum Educator. I loved and still love Boston, but after four years I decided to move to New York City. I lived first in the Washington Heights area, then in the Bay Ridge neighbourhood of Brooklyn. I worked for four years as a Park Ranger at the Statue of Liberty which was an amazing experience! In June of 2013 however I lost my job thanks to budget cuts, left New York and have temporarily moved in with the parents in Connecticut. While I'm between jobs, I plan on travelling all over the place! My recent trips have included England, Colorado, Charleston SC, and Chicago.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm trying to live in the moment without exhausting myself! There is so much to love about life and about humanity, and I can only hope that I get to experience half of what I want to experience.
