About Me

There's an adventure to be had in every situation. I'm excited for the great adventures ahead of me as I search for a career!

I love life! I find joy in discovering and exploring the variety and diversity God has placed in people and nature around the world. Every day is a new opportunity for a great adventure, and another chance to learn something new. Never stop learning. Never stop adventuring.

Everyone has a purpose, and everyone's purpose is unique because of the way God designed them and the experiences they've had in their lives. I live my life for God, and I seek to show people His love through my actions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just started using CS. I'm currently seeking out a new career and a new home, but when it all comes together I will definitely have a couch for the adventurers of the world!

I can only imagine the great stories that I will obtain by being a host and a traveler!

ADVENTURE! Photography, Birdsearching (many people misunderstand birdwatching, so I'm changing the name), longboarding, soccer, football, frisbee, volleyball, mountain biking, camping, backpacking... pretty much all sports and all outdoor activities!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read my Bible daily. I've also read a lot of books about being who God intended me to be. I'm also hoping to start reading magazines and non-fictional books focusing on my career and new technological advancements in engineering.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen life come into this world, and I've seen animals and people leave this world. I've been to places in Canada where the stars are so numerous that the night sky appears to have clouds floating in it. I've snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef where the fish were so colorful and numerous that I thought it must be a dream. I've been so high in the mountains that you can see the curvature of the earth in every direction, and so deep in the wilderness that it seems I'm alone in a world of mountains! I've been in situations where I thought my life was going to end at the paws of a bear, and where I was fortunate enough to avoid getting shot. Life can end at any point, so I'm excited to take every opportunity to see every amazing thing I can!

Teach, Learn, Share

My love for the outdoors has led me to be able to find and identify different species of birds and mammals. I would love to hang out and teach you more about the birds, bees and trees!

I also have gained a lot of knowledge through 7 years of college that I will most likely never use to benefit my career, but if you're an undergraduate student, I've got 7 years of experience I can share with you!

I'm not in the NBA, the NFL, or anything crazy, but I love being active. I'm not sure I can teach much, although I coached soccer for 4 years, but I'm sure down to work-out or play!

And adventure... whooweeeee. I'll find it anywhere!

I hope to learn about people. It'd be great to learn how to play an instrument, but I know I don't have the patience for it. I hope to learn a couple more languages now that the degrees are behind me, and I'm excited to continue learning as opportunities become available.
