My mission is to backpack around western and central Europe. I am currently in the UK (Aug 19) and am heading to a number of places after this including Switzerland, Berlin and Norway, and more

ABOUT ME

Well well, my name is Kevin and I grew up just outside of Toronto Canada. I've always had a bug to travel. Travelling has made me who I am today. Having visited many parts of the US, Canada and Mexico, the Carribean as well as 8 countries in Europe. I'm a very humble human being and love to share my positive energy and happiness with everyone I meet on a day to day basis. I hope that we get the chance to meet along our journeys of life :)

PHILOSOPHY

The way I see it is we're all put here on this earth for a limited amount of time. What you choose to do with that time is totally up to you. I was taught from when I was a child that happiness is a choice, and it's a choice that you make every day when you wake. That being said, your happiness has its effects on others around you. Spreading happiness and positivity to everyone around you only creates the perfect world for you to live in. Treat each other with kindness, give every one the time of day whether it seems right or doesn't, every one deserves to have compassion and some form of connection. Give to the universe and you will receive back ten fold and then some. If you're smiling, keep on smiling and the whole world will smile with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been a while since I have couch surfed in Europe. A few friends and I did a road trip around southern France and northern Spain a few years back and managed to stay in a different city with a different host family every night for just over two weeks. This really opened my eyes as to how welcoming and simply amazing the couch surfing community can be. So we decided from there couch surf all the way down to Barcelona where we couch surfed once again for a few days until we found a flat of our own for the summer.

As for hosting back in Canada, many of my friends that I have made along the way in Europe and America have stayed at my place numerous times. I love nothing more than to be able to share what I have with people that I care about.

Since it has been about 3.5/4 years since I used the website, my old account has expired thus I am creating a new one!!!!

Interests

travelling, hiking, cycling on and off road, meeting new people, addicted to languages. I love to have a good laugh with friends as well as a good dance! The right mixture of these can make for an unforgettable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films. I love Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Adventure, Comedy and pretty much everything under that as long as it's well written/directed.
For music, I love a lot of different types of music. When I go out with my friends I love to listen to house, techno, minimal. Some artists in particular are Green Velvet, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, The Junkies, Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato, tInI, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire.. The list could go on.
When at home I listen to hip hop, RnB, Jazz, Classic, Acoustic and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Repelling out of a helicopter into a large field followed by driving Military Mercedes G-Wagons through sand dunes in Northern Ontario followed by firing C-6 and C-9 Machine guns 2 kilometers off a cliff and blowing up a BMW.
