Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This will be my first time couch surfing - though my roommates have hosted surfers before. Everyone we've hosted has been amazing! I'm really excited to meet people in their element and see the cities they live in through their own eyes. When i get back to the states, I'll be excited to host people myself and show them around my own city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of the coolest encounters was with this girl from New Zealand who my roommates connected with on CS. She'd been traveling all over the world for a year, and SF was her last stop before returning home. We showed her all over San Francisco, especially the places you'd never see if you were just a tourist: our favorite restaurants, our fave dive bars, the best beach places. And in return she shared with us all of her experiences about traveling the world - all of her hitchhiking escapades, all the interesting people she met. She really inspired me to keep traveling because there's just so much to see! She'll never know how much of an impact she had on my life - but I'll carry on with what she conveyed to me, and what i believe - to always live your life from the heart!

Interests

I'm a massage therapist so i'm really interested in the holistic health field and body work related things but i also love: hiking, yoga, politics/political theory, traveling, reading, beaches, hot tea in the morning, making breakfast for people, exploring, discovering new music, writing, art and mostly whatever's in front of me at any given moment.
