Aaallooo! My name is Kiara and I tend to be a restless wanderer.
I've lived on and off volunteering at a Buddhist community in California, worked a summer in Chicago on a whim and spent this last spring/summer in Valencia, Spain. I'm a pretty chill person and always happy to meet a fellow traveler. Unfortunately my current living situation doesn't allow guest but I'm hoping to remedy that soon. :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent a summer backpacking and couch surfing and it was an amazing experience I still look back on daily. I'd love to be able to help someone travel and build their own memories - if only just to recommend a good place to eat or go adventure.

Interests

Music, lots and lots of music. I've seen a load of films though I'm not sure that counts as an interest. hiking, adventuring, frolicking, anything generally like that.

One of my favorite books is Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up To Me by Richard Farina. Also, Brave New World. Currently trekking through Infinite Jest as well as Spirituality in Art.

Can't really name a fav movie but one that's been zooming around in my mind recently has been The Woman In The Dunes. Last one I saw was Gia.

Music I'm all over the map. Currently on: Courtney Barnett for the shower, Brandy during breakfast, Carly when I want to get hyped & Camp Lo just generally always.
