ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old Aries originally from Nelson, BC. I currently have a residence in Edmonton, AB.

Although I do have a strong opinion's on some issues and love a good argument, I find myself to be an easy going person. I love to meet people and I am rarely caught doing nothing (unless I am on a sunny beach)haha. I love music, sports that involve nature, and I am starting to love reading.

The past 8 years since high school I have worked as carpenter(3rd year apprentice), server, bartender and I have ran my own promotion and tour company. As well I have attended NAIT for Business but I am still a few classes short.

I am currently taking time off work to travel and figure out where I want focus my energy for the next few years. I am thinking it will be more traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a fresh face to couch surfing. I found out about this because a host happened to bring their surfer to the bar I was bartending at. We chatted for the evening and couch surfing sounded awesome. Right when I got home I signed up.

I had rented out my condo at the time to save for my travels so at first I could just offer my time for coffee and show surfers around. Now however I am living in Cabarete, Dominican Republic and will be in need of a couch in Santo Domingo in March or April for a night or 2 on my way to Punta Cana. When I get home I look forward to hosting surfers of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no first hand experience but I did meet a host and a surfer while I was bartending in Edmonton and it sounds like a great way to meet new friends and make traveling a little easier on the wallet.
