ABOUT ME

I am 20 years old and entering into my 3rd year of college. I have been lucky enough to go to school by the ocean, and I love it. I have been ballroom dancing since I was 14, and my favorite dance is the Waltz, although I am starting to get into more Salsa dancing. I have always longed to travel, and now I am finally getting my chance during the next year that I will be spending in Wales.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, so really live. I've seen people go far before their time, and as a result, I try not to hold back. I'm always up for trying new things, and I care for people with all my heart.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to surf, and since I still live in dorms, I can't host anyone, but would love to meet up for coffee with anyone who is interested.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I look forward to it!

Interests

Ballroom dancing- including traditional ballroom and latin. Reading- my favorite author is Jane Austen. Hanging out with friends until all hours of the night just talking. Watching movies- I love comedies! Learning about new things- or going new places!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Pride and Prejudice, musicals, Disney movies, Anchorman, V for Vendetta, Eurotrip, Love Actually, and many more.
Music- Mumford and Sons, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Taylor Swift, Journey, Bon Jovi, all kinds of music really, although I am not a big fan of rap.
Books- Jane Austen Novels, Harry Potter Series, historical fiction, Jane Eyre. This list could go on and on, so I suppose I should stop while I'm ahead :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a lot of amazing things, but what stands out the most is something I have done. For two years now, I have participated in the Relay for Life, which is an event put on by the American Cancer Society, in loving memory of my Grandmother.

Teach, Learn, Share

I ballroom dance, and know at least the basics in almost any dance you can think of. I'd really like to learn another language, but so far have not been too successful.
