I always have a smile on my face. I am very friendly, out-going, and easy to get along with. I have been told I have a "contagious laugh."

I am addicted to visiting new places and learning about other cultures. I love to meet new people, especially if they are people I may learn from.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

This will be my first couch-surfing experience.

I will be traveling to Peru in August for a couple of weeks with my good friend Colette. I am very interested in staying with a local who may introduce us to the culture and show us what we should see during our visit. My friend is a little hesitant but is open for the experience if we find a trustworthy person or family to stay with. I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity for us!

We arrive in Cuzco on August 14th. I still need to purchase our flight back to Lima to make it in time for our flight home on the 19th. We are thinking about staying in Cuzco until the 17th, then heading back to explore Lima for a day or so before we go home. Everything is still being decided at the moment.

I would like to hike Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu one of the days (or 2 if it suggested).

We are hoping to learn about the culture and eat some good food. Maybe go dancing if you suggest any places for us! We love to dance!

Intereses

I love to dance. I love any physical activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and any adventures that allow me to enjoy nature. Being from California, I love the beach and warm weather. Going to parks to enjoy a nice picnic is always fun. I appreciate many types of art. I have a love for most music and will listen to anything my ears enjoy. I am a lover of food and appreciate a tasty dish. I like to cook; although for new dishes I make, I do not trust myself without a cook book.

My first trip out of the country was last summer with my best friend Colette. We traveled for a month in Europe to Ireland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. I quit my job to do this because I was not allowed to request that much time off of work. I decided to live my life, and I do not regret it!
