I am a professor of music and education, a musician, a teacher, a voice instructor, a mother, a wife, and a traveler. I am also a third year doctoral student at Columbia, New York.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many kinds of music. I'm trained in classical, love theatre, and groove to dubstep. I have diverse tastes in movies and books, too. The new Star Wars and Star Trek are fantastic! I am a big fan of Young Adult novels. (They are often written to be enjoyed on multiple levels.)

I am passionate about teaching and about learning, and some of the best moments in my life are those in which I have been doing one, the other, or both.
